Senior Supplier Quality Engineer - EEE Parts Specialist

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months relevant experience.

 

• →Deep knowledge of aerospace EEE parts standards, specifications, and requirements (MIL-PRF, MIL-STD, NASA standards)
• →Solid knowledge of engineering methodologies, tools, and standards (electrical, systems, software)
• →Solid knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, ISO 14001, ASME, ANSI, EIA, and related standards
• →Solid knowledge of interpretation of drawings and Source Control Drawings (SoCDs)
• →Skilled in reviewing documents, drawings, and instructions for conformance to requirements
• →Understanding of configuration management and change management processes
• →Solid knowledge of use of relevant inspection and measurement tools and techniques

• Solid knowledge of contract language including FARs, DFARs, and related regulations
• Solid knowledge of Government regulations applicable to defense and space programs
• Understanding of contract quality requirements and flow-down to suppliers and subcontractors

• Ethical leadership; must be able to stop production and/or shipments when evidence suggests quality problems requiring resolution
• Ability to serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, programs, and supplier teams

• Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex specifications into accessible guidance
• Solid interpersonal skills for cross-functional and customer-facing collaboration
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and required factory or engineering tools

• Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data to identify trends and drive improvements
• Experience resolving problems of moderate to complex scope in a program and supplier quality environment
• Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
