I.T Solutions Manager

Are you an experienced IT leader with a passion for designing complex technology solutions and driving operational excellence? We're looking for a Manager (Global IT Solutions), Business Systems, Warehouse Management Solutions (Global Accounts) to lead solution design, application strategy, and specialist teams supporting some of DP World's largest global logistics customers. This is a unique opportunity to shape innovative warehouse management solutions that serve complex international supply chain operations.

As Manager (Global IT Solutions), you will lead the design, development, and delivery of warehouse management system (WMS) solutions supporting global contract logistics operations. You will manage solution analysts and team leads, oversee strategic technology roadmaps, and work collaboratively with customers, operational leaders, engineering teams, and IT partners to deliver innovative and scalable business solutions.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring DP World's technology platforms remain a key competitive differentiator by supporting complex customer requirements that extend beyond standard off-the-shelf warehouse management solutions.

• Lead the strategic and tactical IT solutions roadmap for global customer accounts within Contract Logistics.
• Drive solution design across warehouse management systems, business processes, and integrated technologies.
• Ensure technology solutions align with business goals, customer requirements, and organisational growth strategies.
• Influence solution outcomes with customers, engineering teams, business leaders, and technology partners.
• Leadership & Team Management
• Lead and develop a global team of Solution Team Leads and Analysts supporting business-critical applications.
• Manage resource planning, recruitment, performance management, succession planning, and professional development activities.
• Build strong technical and business process capability across the solutions organisation.
• Operational Excellence & Innovation
• Act as a subject matter expert across key warehouse management and supply chain process areas.
• Ensure adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC), change control, workflow, and service management best practices.
• Collaborate with PMO, Operations, Integration, Security, Engineering, and Customer stakeholders to deliver successful technology outcomes.

• Support innovation initiatives, operational improvements, new product launches, and large-scale customer programmes.

   

• →Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• →Significant experience delivering enterprise IT solutions within logistics, supply chain, warehouse management (WMS) or transportation management (TMS) environments.
• →Experience leading technical teams across multiple locations and geographies.
• →Strong background in software development lifecycles, relational databases, web technologies, systems integration, and solution architecture.
• →Experience supporting complex, high-volume international supply chain operations.
• →Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• →Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset.
• →Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• →Proven ability to influence and drive successful outcomes across cross-functional teams.
• →Highly organised, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
• →Fluent English communication skills; additional languages are advantageous.

  Willingness to travel internationally as required (approximately 5-10%).
