Shop Foreman - Marquette Area

• →Troubleshoot machine and tooling problems and call maintenance when needed.
• →Track job progress and report delays to the production manager.
• →Enforce safety rules and keep the floor clean and organized.
• →Train new operators on setup, inspection, and shop procedures.
• →Review shift handoffs and close out work orders at the end of the day.
• →Open the shop each morning and confirm which jobs are running on each machine.
• →Assign work to machinists and operators based on schedule and skill.
• →Check first articles and spot-check parts during the shift.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of hands-on machining or fabrication experience.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience on a shop floor.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Working knowledge of CNC setup and machine shop math.
• Strong verbal communication and clear record keeping.

• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• Formal training or certification in machining or manufacturing technology.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement projects.
• Familiarity with ERP or job tracking software.
• Forklift or overhead crane certification.
