Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Detroit Area

We partner with manufacturers across the Detroit area seeking Shipping & Receiving Clerks who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

• →Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading and packing lists.
• →Keep the dock and warehouse areas clean and organized.
• →Coordinate with production and purchasing on material shortages.
• →Receive incoming shipments and verify counts against packing slips.
• →Unload and load trucks using a forklift or pallet jack.
• →Inspect incoming materials for damage and report discrepancies.
• →Record received goods in the inventory system and apply labels.
• →Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders for shipment.

• Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail for accurate counts and documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior warehouse or shipping and receiving experience.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.

• Experience with ERP or warehouse management software.
• Knowledge of DOT and carrier shipping requirements.
• Hazmat handling training.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Valid driver license for yard moves or local deliveries.
