As a Registered Dental Assistant at Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics in White House, you’ll help children build a foundation of healthy smiles in a fun, welcoming environment. • Review hygiene patient charts before each visit, including reason for visit, medical history, and X-ray needs• Greet families, verify patient information and treatment consent with parents or guardians, and follow HIPAA privacy standards• Explain what to expect during the visit and answer parents’ questions• Take high-quality radiographs• Perform coronal polishing• Chart existing and missing teeth, restorations, and procedures• Keep accurate clinical notes for every visit• Clean, package, and sterilize instruments (autoclave and Statim) following OSHA and company standards
