Our SKUTOPIA Distribution Centre located in Altona, Melbourne, has just opened and will deliver a premium service to our e-commerce merchants and end consumers, initially fulfilling up to 10,000 orders per day before ramping up in the future. We are looking for a Permanent Forklift Operator to contribute to a high performing fulfilment team.

Responsibilities

→Move heavy items with forklift (Counter balance experience preferred)
→Conducting pre-start checks and basic maintenance
→Receive and putaway inventory
→Adhere to strict safety, quality and fulfilment standards
→Be on your feet for the majority of the day including lifting and bending to reach products on racking, climbing stairs, walking and standing.
→Collaborate with fellow team members and supervisors to optimise workflows and ensure all warehouse tasks are completed accurately and on time.
→Maintain a clean working environment - taking out the rubbish, cardboard etc.

Requirements

Current valid forklift licence
Experience using a counterbalance or high reach forklift
Ability to follow and improve the sites traffic management plan as we scale
Basic computer experience
Reliable and punctual
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
