The Unit of Student Affairs is seeking applicants for part-time job of clinical laboratory director.

Job duties to include:

Ensure full compliance with Federal and State regulations including CLIA
Responsible for the overall operations and administration of the student health center clinical laboratory
Ensure that testing systems developed and used for each of the tests performed in the laboratory provide quality laboratory services for all aspects of test performance, which includes the pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic phases of testing.
Ensure that personnel meet the qualifications required for laboratory testing and meet competency standards

Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:

Doctoral degree in medicine
Medical licensure with the state of PA
Certification in anatomic or clinical pathology
A minimum of 2 years directing a high complexity laboratory

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
