Remote Mental Health Therapist - Contract

 

Pay: $75 to $85, per hour

Part-Time: 10 to 20 hours, per week

 

We are seeking candidates who are licensed in Maryland. We cover the full cost of additional state licensure fees, enabling you to expand your practice across multiple states.

 

At Embark Behavioral Health, we help adolescents, young adults, and their families navigate mental health challenges through compassionate, evidence-based care. Our Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (VIOP) expands access to life-changing treatment for clients ages 12-34, and we're seeking dedicated clinicians who want to make a meaningful impact while collaborating with a supportive, multidisciplinary team in a fully virtual setting.  This is a contracted position and group hours are Monday through Thursday from 4 to 10 pm EST. You must have some availability during those hours.  

• →Provide individual and family therapy while curating personalized treatment plans, conducting intake assessments for new clients, and completing insurance review notes.
• →Collaborate in treatment team discussions and discharge planning, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client care.
• →Lead IOP group sessions as needed, fostering a supportive environment for clients and their families.
• →Work alongside empathetic colleagues who value trust, service, growth, and results in delivering exceptional mental health support.
• →Engage in therapeutic discussions with clients, families, and providers to promote holistic, patient-centered care.

• Fully Clinical Licensure in Maryland
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), preferred. May consider provisional on a case-by-case basis.
• One-year experience utilizing relational, experiential, and systemic modalities, preferred.
• Two years of experience as a licensed therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions, preferred.
• Proficient in DBT, TF-CBT, and/or ERP, effectively integrating these practices into your approach.
• Passionate about working with adolescents and young adults, fostering positive therapeutic relationships during their critical developmental years.
• Experience in delivering online therapy is strongly desired, ensuring you can provide effective support through our Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
