Senior Quality Engineer II

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Quality Engineer II with 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. This role will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions through effective test planning, execution, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• →Own end-to-end testing activities for assigned features, enhancements, and releases.
• →Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify risks, gaps, and test scenarios.
• →Design, develop, and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases.
• →Validate backend data and business logic using SQL queries.
• →Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
• →Investigate production issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform root cause analysis.
• →Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance testing efficiency, documentation, analysis, and quality outcomes.
• →Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and Support teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• →Leverage AI-enabled tools to streamline test documentation, reporting, and QA knowledge management.
• →Promote an AI-First Quality Engineering approach by improving QA processes through intelligent testing practices.
• →Mentor junior team members and promote a quality-first mindset.

Required Qualifications

• →Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• →7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with strong manual testing expertise.
• →Strong experience in requirement analysis, test execution, defect management, and production support.
• →Hands-on experience with SQL and database validation, including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• →Experience testing web-based and enterprise applications.
• →Exposure to AI-powered tools and prompt engineering concepts to improve testing productivity and quality.
• →Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software testing best practices.
• →Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• →Experience in the US Healthcare domain.
• →Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• →Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for test case creation, documentation, analysis, and reporting.
• →Experience mentoring and guiding QA team members.
• →Experience testing data-intensive, analytics, or reporting applications.
• →Knowledge of test automation concepts and quality engineering practices.
