Cashier

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer payments, maintaining accurate transaction records, and providing excellent customer service while ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed. 

• →Process cash, card, bank transfer, and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently. 
• →Issue receipts, invoices, and supporting documentation to customers. 
• →Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions at the end of each shift. 
• →Prepare daily cash reports and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly. 
• →Handle customer enquiries related to payments and account balances in a professional manner. 
• →Ensure that all cash handling procedures and company policies are adhered to at all times. 
• →Maintain accurate records of payments, refunds, and other financial transactions. 
• →Assist with the preparation of bank deposits and related documentation. 
• →Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or irregularities promptly. 
• →Work closely with the Finance and Administration teams to resolve payment-related queries. 
• →Maintain a clean, organised, and professional work area. 
• →Support the team with general administrative duties as required. 

Education & Experience 

Secondary level education. 

Previous experience in a cashier, customer service, retail, or administrative role will be considered an asset. 

Basic understanding of cash handling and reconciliation procedures. 

• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Customer-focused with a professional and friendly approach. 
• Ability to work accurately under pressure. 
• Good organisational and time management skills. 
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. 
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness when handling cash and financial transactions. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
