ETIC, Cybersecurity - IDAM - Graduate Program (German Speaker)
Quick Summary
Help configure how access is granted, changed and removed when employees join, move roles or leave the organization. Improve secure access: Support authentication,
Our Digital Identity team helps organizations make sure the right people and systems have the right access, at the right time, for the right reasons.
We help clients answer practical questions such as: How should employees receive access when they join or change roles? How do we prevent excessive access? How can users sign in securely without creating unnecessary friction? And how should sensitive administrator access be protected?
As a Graduate or Associate, you will work hands-on with identity technologies, helping configure, integrate and test solutions while learning how identity processes work across complex organizations.
Core Activities: “What You’ll Be Working On”
- Support identity lifecycle processes: Help configure how access is granted, changed and removed when employees join, move roles or leave the organization.
- Improve secure access: Support authentication, Single Sign-On and Multi-Factor Authentication so users can access applications securely and efficiently.
- Configure roles and permissions: Help define user roles, groups and access rights so employees receive the access they need without unnecessary privileges.
- Connect applications to identity platforms: Support integrations between business applications, directories and identity systems such as Microsoft Entra ID.
- Test whether solutions work: Execute functional and integration tests, investigate errors and document results and remediation actions.
- Work with identity data: Analyze users, roles and permissions to identify inconsistencies, excessive access or provisioning issues.
- Build technical foundations: Gain practical exposure to APIs, authentication protocols, scripting and cloud identity environments.
Key Skills: “What you need to have”
Typically 0–4 years of experience. Prior IAM experience is helpful, but not required.
We are looking for people interested in how users, applications and technology interact. A background in computer science, information systems, engineering, cybersecurity or a related technical field is beneficial.
You should be comfortable learning technical concepts, troubleshooting problems and working carefully with configurations and data. Basic knowledge of directories, authentication, APIs, scripting or cloud platforms is an advantage. Exposure to Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory or IAM platforms is helpful, but can also be developed on the job.
Knowledge Exposure: “What you'll build expertise in”
During your first projects, you will learn how enterprise identity environments work and how organizations manage access securely at scale. You will build hands-on exposure to identity lifecycle management, access governance, authentication, cloud identity, privileged access and application integration, while developing your technical consulting and client delivery skills.
