Security Officer - Hospital

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Incident Response in Asheville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Hospital Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to maintain a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will support security-related responses, including assisting with restrained individuals and morgue access, while providing exceptional customer service and communication. • →Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• →Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established facility protocols.
• →Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned healthcare facility areas, parking locations, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• →Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• →Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
