As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Martinsville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and clear communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. • →Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a chemical and petrochemical manufacturing location.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• →Monitor access control points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy concerns.
• →Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
