Deli Assistant - Full Time

Previous deli or food service experience is preferred, but training can be provided to the right candidate.

Good customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during busy periods.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and HACCP procedures.

Ability to prepare sandwiches, rolls, salads and other deli products to a high standard.

Maintain excellent cleanliness and hygiene throughout the deli area.

Follow food rotation, stock control and date-checking procedures.

Ensure all food is prepared, stored and displayed correctly.

Be punctual, dependable and flexible with working hours, including weekends.

Take pride in your work and maintain high standards at all times.

Prepare and serve fresh food in accordance with company standards.

Provide excellent customer service and handle customer requests professionally.

Keep counters, equipment and work areas clean and organised.

Monitor food quality, freshness and stock levels.

Follow all food safety, allergen management and hygiene procedures.

Work closely with the deli team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Store specific training will be provided.
