Quoting Specialist - Marquette Area

• →Update quoted pricing when drawings or quantities change.
• →Maintain a quote log and keep records of past and pending quotes.

• →Compare actual job costs to quoted costs after order award.
• →Review customer drawings and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• →Request material and outside process pricing from approved suppliers.
• →Build cost breakdowns for labor, material, tooling, and freight.

• Clear written and verbal communication with customers and suppliers.
• Experience preparing quotes or estimates in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong spreadsheet skills for building and checking cost models.
• Familiarity with machining, fabrication, or assembly processes.
• Attention to detail and comfort working with numbers under deadlines.

• Experience quoting for aerospace, defense, or automotive customers.
• Experience with ERP or quoting software.
• Knowledge of material grades and mill pricing.
• Background in purchasing or supply chain.
• Associate or bachelor degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
