What You'll Do:

As a Revenue Accountant supporting the Revenue and Orders team, you will be responsible for processing orders, including new, renewals, and cancellations/changes to existing orders. The role includes an emphasis on reviewing underlying contract documents for appropriateness, as well as various terms and conditions that could impact revenue recognition. This role includes a system-to-system review for data to ensure completeness and accuracy of contract/order integration from Salesforce to WorkDay, reviewing key fields in WorkDay for appropriateness based upon upstream system data.

In addition to the above, the Revenue Accountant assists with preparing various month-end close activities, including but not limited to: monthly revenue reporting, researching/understanding period over period fluctuations at a Customer level, revenue accruals, required manual journal entries (MJEs), balance sheet reconciliations (recons) and related roll forwards (RFs), and various other monthly reporting/checks to ensure complete and accurate revenue reporting. This role operates on a US-based close calendar; extended availability may be required during month-end and quarter-end periods.
