Senior Patent Attorney

## Join our Team About this opportunity Ericsson owns one of the most valuable patent portfolios in the ICT industry, with over 60,000 granted patents spanning cellular technology, cloud, consumer electronics and more. As part of the Patent Creation Management team within the global IPR & Licensing Organisation, you will help shape and protect inventions arising from Ericsson's antenna technology research and related global initiatives. This role suits someone who enjoys change, values precision and wants to grow within a globally leading technology company. Both experienced patent professionals and engineers or researchers looking to move into IP management are welcome to apply. What you will do • Work with R&D teams in Gothenburg and globally to identify and develop patentable telecom inventions. • Manage your own patent docket with accuracy and precision. • Carry out claim charting and technical analysis. • Handle invention disclosures and contribute to portfolio strategy. • Support in-house patent drafting and prosecution. • Act as a bridge between patent attorneys and R&D teams on technical matters. • Keep up to date with developments in European and international patent law, telecom standards and emerging technologies. • Collaborate with legal, technical and business colleagues in an international, cross-functional team. You will bring • In-depth knowledge of telecom technology, such as antenna, wireless transport, core networks, 3GPP radio or mission critical, gained through professional experience, research or technical expertise. • A master's degree in engineering, physics, computer science or a related field. • Either (partial) qualification as a European Patent Attorney, or strong hands-on technical experience with a genuine interest in patents and a motivation to develop IPR expertise. • A solid understanding of telecommunication technologies. • Strong coordination and communication skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately. • Substantial on-site availability at the Rosenheim location. • Experience in patent portfolio management. • Hands-on patent drafting and prosecution experience. • Knowledge of other telecommunication areas. • Familiarity with AI-based drafting tools and modern IP workflows. • Openness to continuous learning and developing towards full patent attorney responsibilities.
