Scion is paving a path in student living and we’re seeking a talented Recruiter to join us in executing our vision. This position will focus on attracting top talent to the organization, ensuring a world-class candidate experience, and advising internal teams on Talent Acquisition strategy and best practices.  

The Recruiter is an articulate professional and excels in a fast-paced, agile, corporate environment. This role demands a combination of administrative skills, unwavering follow-through, excellent communication, and applied critical thinking skills. 

• →Identify hiring needs and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to clarify position requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.  
• →Own full-cycle recruiting for our Chicago headquarters, partnering with hiring managers to attract top talent for corporate roles in marketing, sales, investment, finance, accounting, asset management, and various other functions. 
• →Post job ads, source talent, select and coordinate interviews with qualified candidates, conduct interviews, and guide hiring managers and candidates throughout the interview process through offer extension. 
• →Assist with proactively driving active and passive candidate pipelines, including organizing and managing CRM. 
• →Build professional rapport with hiring managers and develop effective relationships within the organization and external workforce to positively influence Scion’s talent acquisition and development efforts.  
• →Advise and support all teams with recruitment and related best practices.  
• →Advocate for company value proposition to attract, engage, and retain key talent; Equally advocate for the candidate experience and perception.  
• →Identify, recommend, and implement operational improvements to streamline recruitment processes, gather metrics, and increase efficiency.  
• →Assist with employee referral management.  
• →Assist with developing and updating job descriptions and offer letters.  
• →Assist with defining and documenting standardized internal recruitment practices, processes and procedures. 
• →Participate in training practices and provide training to other teams as required.  
• →Stay current on the company’s organizational structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. 

The responsibilities listed above may not be all inclusive. 

• College graduate and 3+ years of recruiting experience is required, preferably a combination of agency and in-house.  
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with an appropriate sense of audience.  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. 
• Familiarity with general recruitment mediums and ATS systems is preferred; experience with Greenhouse and UKG is a plus.  
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; Attention to detail.  
• Prioritizes effectively and meets deadlines. 

Operational Details 

• Job location is based at Scion’s Chicago corporate headquarters. 
• Working hours consist of standard daytime business hours.
