CNC Swiss Lathe Operator - Croswell Area

• →Change tools and perform routine machine maintenance.
• →Track production counts and complete run paperwork.
• →Follow safety and quality procedures on the shop floor.
• →Set up and operate CNC Swiss lathes for production runs.
• →Load bar stock and monitor tool wear during machining.
• →Read blueprints and inspect parts to tolerance with calipers and micrometers.
• →Adjust offsets and program edits to hold dimensions.
• →Perform first article inspection and document results.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift bar stock.
• Experience operating CNC Swiss lathes in a machine shop.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools.
• Familiarity with G code and machine controls.
• Attention to detail and ability to hold tight tolerances.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience with multi axis or mill turn equipment.
• Trade school certificate in machining.
• Experience with Citizen or Star Swiss machines.
• Ability to write or edit programs at the control.
• Knowledge of GD&T and SPC.
