Materials Manager - Detroit Area

• →Supervise warehouse and material handling staff.
• →Resolve shortages and expedite critical materials as needed.
• →Ensure material storage meets safety and compliance standards.

• Strong knowledge of inventory accuracy and cycle count methods.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field.
• Five or more years in materials or inventory management in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems for inventory control.

• APICS or similar supply chain certification.
• Experience with supplier negotiations and vendor management.
• Familiarity with ISO or similar quality management systems.
• Background in automotive or high-volume production environments.
• Data analysis skills using spreadsheets or reporting tools.
