PLC Programmer - Shelby Township Area

• →Collaborate with engineers and maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
• →Support installation and startup of new automated systems.
• →Write and modify PLC programs for manufacturing equipment.
• →Troubleshoot PLC and control system issues on the production floor.
• →Integrate PLCs with HMIs, sensors, and other automation devices.
• →Perform testing and debugging of new and modified programs.
• →Document program changes and maintain version control.

• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.).
• Associate degree in electrical engineering technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with HMI configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience programming PLCs such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder logic.

• Knowledge of safety PLCs and standards.
• Certification in PLC programming or controls.
• Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Experience with robotics integration (e.g., Fanuc, ABB).
• Familiarity with SCADA systems.
