Mechanic - Iron River Area

• →Inspect, diagnose, and repair production machinery and mechanical equipment.
• →Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machines and systems.
• →Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures during production.
• →Replace worn or broken parts such as bearings, belts, gears, and seals.
• →Read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to guide repairs.
• →Test machines after repair to confirm safe and correct operation.
• →Document maintenance work and parts used in service logs.
• →Follow lockout/tagout and plant safety procedures during all tasks.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience repairing industrial or production machinery.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Understanding of plant safety and lockout/tagout practices.

• Experience with CNC or automated production equipment.
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance tools and vibration analysis.
• Forklift or aerial lift certification.
• Formal training or certificate in industrial maintenance or mechanics.
• Welding or fabrication experience.
