Calibration Technician - Escanaba Area

• →Maintain calibration standards and verify their traceability.
• →Follow written procedures and quality system requirements for each task.
• →Report calibration problems and equipment trends to the supervisor.
• →Calibrate measuring instruments and test equipment on a scheduled basis.
• →Record calibration results and update equipment records in the tracking system.
• →Compare readings against known standards and adjust instruments as needed.
• →Tag and quarantine equipment that fails calibration or is out of tolerance.
• →Perform routine checks and minor repairs on gauges, meters, and sensors.

• Experience calibrating instruments in a manufacturing or lab setting.
• Ability to read procedures, specs, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and multimeters.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail in recording data.
• Understanding of quality standards and calibration traceability.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience with calibration software and equipment databases.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 requirements.
• Formal metrology or calibration training or certification.
• Experience with electrical, pressure, or temperature calibration.
• Associate degree in electronics, metrology, or a related field.
