Forklift Operator - 1st Shift

• →Operate all warehouse equipment required to transfer finished goods and other products to the appropriate areas, including forklift and clamp truck
• →Load and unload trucks efficiently in accordance with department standards
• →Stock all goods in a safe and stable manner
• →Communicate pertinent information to relief at shift change
• →Follow all safety policies and procedures
• →Maintain work area in an organized, safe, and clean manner; knowledge of 6S is a plus
• →Know locations of and how to operate emergency stop buttons and fire extinguishers
• →Complete forklift checklist
• →Monitor and record all products returned or received
• →Check accuracy of finished product count on pallets, verify product ID, ensure pallets have only one Port Ticket when removed from lines, and accurately complete all required paperwork
• →Fill forklift propane tank at end of shift
• →Perform accurate cycle counts as designated by Team Leaders
• →Effectively organize and stage materials to support inventory accuracy
• →Knowledge of LOTO procedures is a plus

• Minimum of one year recent forklift experience preferred
• Minimum of one year sit-down forklift experience required
• Clamp attachment operation experience is a plus
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of mathematics
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing (English required)
• Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision
• Must be certified in Lockout/Tagout and Forklift Operation upon assignment
