As a Senior ModSSD Network Engineering Alignment (NEAT) Process Alignment Engineer, you will be responsible for driving network-level engineering alignment and process standardization to ensure efficient, effective, and sustainable manufacturing solutions across Micron network factories and subcontractors.
You will work closely with site and global engineering teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to standardize manufacturing practices, implement Best-Known Methods (BKMs), strengthen change governance, and maintain manufacturing stability and product quality.
### Responsibilities
* Drive global process alignment and standardization across Micron network factories and subcontractors, ensuring consistent adoption of Best-Known Methods (BKMs).
* Coordinate and drive implementation of new processes, equipment, and materials, including development and maintenance of process specifications, SOPs, and training materials.
* Review and maintain Global FMEA and Quality Control Plans (QCP) to ensure alignment with current manufacturing processes and requirements.
* Support and govern network change management requests, ensuring structured technical reviews, risk assessment, documentation, and effective implementation.
* Identify opportunities to improve and standardize manufacturing and engineering processes in collaboration with site and global SMEs.
* Define, monitor, and drive engineering and process metrics to measure process alignment, standardization, and manufacturing performance across the network.
* Partner with site engineering teams to troubleshoot process gaps, improve manufacturing stability, and drive sustainable corrective actions.
* Support subcontractor manufacturing operations by providing engineering oversight on process health, manufacturing stability, and product quality.
* Support the assessment, qualification, and onboarding of new subcontractors, including process readiness and manufacturing alignment.
* Facilitate knowledge sharing and alignment between global and site teams to enable consistent execution of network manufacturing requirements.
* Understanding of AI, machine learning, data analytics, or manufacturing digitalization concepts, with an ability to identify practical applications within engineering and manufacturing processes.
* Experience with AI-enabled engineering, manufacturing analytics, automation, or data-driven process optimization is advantageous.
### Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
* 6–8 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within the semiconductor, electronics, PCBA, or high-volume manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing and process engineering principles, with experience in process standardization and continuous improvement.
* Practical knowledge of FMEA, Quality Control Plans (QCP), SOPs, process specifications, and change management.
* Experience in PCBA/electronic manufacturing is preferred.
* Experience working across multiple manufacturing sites, global engineering teams, suppliers, or subcontractors is an advantage.
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and structured problem-solving methodologies is advantageous.
* Demonstrated ability to independently manage engineering projects and multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to effectively collaborate with and influence cross-functional, site, and global stakeholders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
