As a Project Technician I, you will support industrial engineering and maintenance projects by ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and traceability of technical asset information. You will contribute to field inspections, equipment data collection, and the validation of engineering documentation to help maintain reliable industrial asset records. Working with technical drawings, maintenance systems, and corporate databases, you will help organize equipment hierarchies, spare parts information, and maintenance planning activities. You will also support asset criticality assessments, preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, and energy isolation documentation. This role combines hands-on fieldwork with technical analysis and administrative coordination, requiring close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. It is an excellent opportunity for a technically trained professional seeking to develop expertise in industrial asset management, maintenance planning, and engineering project support.
Industrial Asset Inspections: Conduct field surveys and technical validations of industrial assets and equipment, verifying physical characteristics and ensuring that recorded information accurately reflects actual site conditions.
Engineering Documentation Analysis: Analyze and correlate field findings with engineering documents, process flow diagrams, technical drawings, supervisory control systems, and corporate databases.
Asset Data Management: Support the creation, organization, updating, and standardization of asset hierarchies and installation locations, ensuring data consistency and traceability.
Technical Equipment Records: Collect, organize, and validate technical information about equipment, manufacturers, models, construction characteristics, and other relevant specifications.
Technical Documentation Preparation: Prepare and review equipment datasheets, technical spreadsheets, and data-loading files, maintaining accurate and standardized records.
Equipment Structures and Spare Parts: Support the preparation and updating of technical equipment lists, equipment structures, and spare parts trees. Identify components, materials, and opportunities for interchangeability through technical analysis.
Asset Criticality Assessment: Contribute to asset criticality analysis and classification processes to support maintenance prioritization and operational reliability.
Maintenance Strategy and Planning: Assist in developing and reviewing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, inspection routines, and calibration plans.
Maintenance Planning Parameters: Support the definition of maintenance activities, frequencies, durations, resources, materials, and work centers associated with maintenance plans.
52-Week Maintenance Planning: Help organize and update the 52-week maintenance schedule, supporting planning accuracy and coordination.
Energy Isolation Documentation: Conduct field surveys to support the preparation and revision of energy isolation matrices, identifying relevant assets and physical isolation points.
Asset Identification and Traceability: Support the physical identification of equipment through asset tags, identification plates, and other traceability measures.
SAP and Information Systems: Enter, retrieve, review, and validate technical information in management systems, particularly SAP, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Technical Reporting and Quality Assurance: Prepare technical reports, field records, supporting evidence, and tracking controls. Assist with audits, compliance checks, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on asset information quality.
Data Reliability and Organization: Maintain the organization, traceability, and reliability of technical information under your responsibility, following established engineering and quality standards.
