This CPF is properly aligned with the collective agreements and frameworks to support Tanzania’s development priorities through its United Nations Sustainable Development Corporation Framework (UNSDCF 2022-2027/8)

Tanzania developed Vision 2050 which became operational in June 2026, given this new plan coupled with the changing geopolitical context, the UN system requested the government of the United Republic of Tanzania to extend the UNSDCF by one year, ending in 2028, the request was granted, FAO country Programming Framework was also extended to align with the new dates of UNSDCF

Objective of the CPF Review:

The Review is designed to:
•    Assess the achievements of the CPF outcomes (People, Prosperity and Planet). Comparing targets and delivery, as well as meeting the UNSDCF commitments.
•    Desing a forward-looking plan which Identifies priorities and recommendations for FAO intervention in the next CPF, taking into consideration Tanzania’s vision 2025 and the recent UNSDCF review report.
