Wise is an award-winning technology firm that specialises in the self-employment industry. Based in Solihull, we create software to help businesses stay compliant and scale with ease by providing an all-in-one system that takes care of compliance, onboarding, and payments.

We founded Wise in December 2019, and we have scaled rapidly to a team of over 90 talented individuals. Today, our platform is trusted by over 2,500 businesses and 280,000+ app users across multiple industries. Backed by leading private equity firm Inflexion and officially accredited as a Great Place to Work™, we protect businesses from compliance risks and remove the admin burden.

Our Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support and handling day-to-day Helpdesk operations, whilst executing routine client implementations and configurations. The Technical Support Specialist will partner closely with customer-facing teams as well as Product and Engineering to ensure fast issue resolution, maintain accurate documentation, and support a seamless onboarding experience for customers. By delivering high-quality support and seamless client configurations, this role directly advances Wise's mission to provide a reliable, efficient experience for users. It acts as a vital link between customers and technical teams to drive platform improvement and operational excellence.

Everyone is involved in our company’s vision and success. Building the best products means we need the best people; we’re proud of the team we’ve built so far and want to continue that growth. We’re looking for passionate and collaborative self-starters who enjoy getting things done and know how to have fun while doing so. In return, our team is rewarded, recognised, and celebrated!

  • Flexible working (hybrid and hours)

  • Gym membership contribution

  • Private medical insurance

  • Discretionary bonus

Quite simply, we want to work with people who can overcome complex problems by making them look easy. We’re passionate about investing in people, and below are some of the attributes you may already have:

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp complex software systems and learn and digest new information.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and identify potential solutions.

  • Verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and instructions to peers and customers of varying technical backgrounds.

  • Strong multitasking and effective time management abilities.

  • Proactive & self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

It would also be beneficial if you had any experience with:

  • 1-2 years experience in technical support, helpdesk, or customer-facing roles, ideally in a SaaS environment.

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification (STEM, IT, or business), or a proven passion for technology.
