Amdocs is looking for a VP, AI-Native Engineering to lead the development of our next generation of software: spec-first, business-driven autonomous systems that increasingly generate themselves from intent, specifications and business outcomes. We believe the way complex software is imagined, built and operated is about to change fundamentally. Reporting directly to the Head of Amdocs Technology, this leader will turn that vision into working technology and build a focused, exceptional team to make it happen. This is not a traditional large-scale engineering leadership role. We are looking for a visionary technology leader who is also a proven builder, combining deep technical credibility with the ability to turn emerging AI capabilities into enterprise-grade products and platforms. ## What will your job look like? • Define and execute the technology vision for AI-native, autonomous software development. • Turn the North Star concept into architecture, engineering practices, platforms and working systems. • Build and lead a highly capable team of engineers, architects and AI specialists. • Pioneer spec-first and agentic development, using AI to transform how software is designed, built, tested and operated. • Take breakthrough ideas from experimentation and prototypes to scalable, production-grade solutions. • Demonstrate measurable improvements in engineering productivity, speed, quality and adaptability. • Partner across product, technology, business and customer-facing teams to translate innovation into business and customer value. ## All you need is... • Significant senior leadership experience in software engineering and technology. • Deep hands-on understanding of Generative AI, agentic systems, AI-native engineering and modern software architecture. • A proven record of building and delivering innovative software products, platforms or engineering capabilities. • Strong experience across cloud, AI/ML, data and modern engineering technologies. • The ability to combine bold technology vision with disciplined execution. • Experience attracting and leading exceptional technical talent. • Strong executive presence and the ability to influence across a complex global organization. • Experience with BSS, telecommunications or mission-critical B2B software is an advantage, but not essential. ## Why you will love this job: • Use your influence, leadership skills, and propensity for delivering strategy to positively impact the outcomes for a large customer base for a global leader. • You will be able to use your outstanding customer relationship building skills to shine on a large scale. • This is an opportunity to work in multinational environment for the global market leader in its field. • We are a dynamic, multi-cultural organization that constantly innovates and empowers our employees to grow.
