- 10-hour breaks between shifts
- Local intermodal container freight secured on chassis
- Routes across the Inland Empire and Los Angeles area, with some northbound trips through the Grapevine to the Shafter and Lebec areas
- Operations use multiple rail ramps in the greater Los Angeles area
- Mix of drop-and-hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloaded freight
- Slip-seat operation: trucks are parked at the San Bernardino yard
- Automatic dispatch; drivers do not choose their routes
- Required northbound deliveries and pickups are part of the account
Requirements
~1 min read- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of tractor-trailer experience
- First-seat/experienced drivers
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Must be able to follow assigned routes and work the required night schedule
