Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse-Anesthetist)

Located on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Madigan Army Medical Center comprises a network of Army medical facilities located in Washington and California that serve more than 100,000 active duty service members, their families and retirees. • Administer all forms of anesthesia for surgical procedures ranging from simple to highly complex cases
• Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations of patient physical and mental status to develop individualized plans of care.
• Manage patient anesthetic care, monitor vital physiological responses, and adjust anesthetic levels during surgery.
• Provide immediate post-anesthetic care to ensure patient stability and safe transition to recovery units.
• Participate in clinical research and data collection to improve anesthesia practice and patient outcomes.
• Provide clinical instruction, mentorship, and training to nurse anesthetist students and medical residents.

Performs other duties as assigned.
