  • Strong Python for data engineering (pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, or PySpark) and comfort in Jupyter notebooks, with proven experience building transformation pipelines and data warehouse models.
  • Hands-on Amazon Redshift administration and tuning, including distribution and sort keys, workload management, and permissions.
  • Experience running and securing data platforms in AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, RDS, or similar), including encryption and access control for sensitive consumer data.
  • Workflow orchestration (Airflow, Step Functions, or similar) and CI/CD for database and pipeline code.
  • Production ownership, including code review, release management, and on-call support, with strong communication skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Experience with data pipelines for AI applications (RAG workflows, vector stores, MCP server integrations), ML tools such as scikit-learn or SageMaker, NoSQL databases, infrastructure as code, BI tools such as Tableau, and/or AWS certifications is a plus.
