Direct Care - New Milford

The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking Direct Care Staff to join our team at our Compass residential program in New Milford, CT. Our direct care staff establish life-changing relationships with our participants and provide opportunities to optimize their independence, rehabilitation and recovery.

Compass house provides a positive and supportive environment for individuals with persistent psychiatric conditions, enabling them to live safely and successfully within the community. This program is specifically tailored to support clients who face ongoing challenges with community living and who have a history or repeated psychiatric hospitalizations. Our team assists residents in developing daily living skills, integrating into the community, engaging socially, and participating in recreational activities. These efforts promote greater independence and overall well-being.

2nd shift, 2:00pm-10:00pm. Days on: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Days off: Friday, Saturday.
