Educational Consultant (Full-Time)

Empower Tutoring is looking for an Educational Consultant for our Ontario-Based online tutoring company. This is a full-time, remote position. Please see hours below.

As we are Ontario based, hours will follow Toronto time. BC no longer changes their clocks, so the hours below will apply from November-March

• Mondays-Thursdays: 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM ET (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM BC time)
• Friday: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM ET (8:00 AM to 1:00 PM BC time)
• Potential weekend shifts (~3 hours on either Saturday OR Sunday)

Empower Tutoring is an Ontario-based tutoring company, offering online tutoring for high-school students in Math, Chemistry, Physics, English, and more. Our team of tutors provide personalized tutoring sessions, tailored to each student they work with.

We are currently looking for a dedicated entry-level Educational Sales Consultant who is enthusiastic, high energy, and enjoys helping families with their tutoring needs. 

• →Respond to new family inquiries
• →Run phone consultations with parents
• →Understand each student's needs and goals
• →Recommend the right tutoring plan
• →Have pricing and enrolment conversations
• →Follow up with families 
• →Hand off new families to Student Success Managers
• →Write clear notes to support tutor matching
• →Keep lead records accurate and up to date

• Genuinely enjoy talking to people and get energy from being on the phone most of the day
• Are comfortable calling parents and building rapport quickly
• Are a good listener and can understand family needs 
• Can be quick on the spot during phone calls
• Learn new programs, systems, and processes quickly
  
• Are passionate about education
• Are a confident, extroverted and energetic person!

• University degree
• Experience in customer service work or sales (preferably in an educational setting)
• Previous experience in education field or as a tutor is an asset
• Available full-time and willing to commit for the long-term
