Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Build and maintain DataMap's change methodology as one playbook, with a standard toolkit every change manager uses: stakeholder maps that sort each group into Allies, Opponents, Neutrals, and Adversaries, impact and readiness assessments, WIIFM messaging, communication and feedback plans, and RACI matrices.
- →Make training and third-party change part of the methodology and offerings: one approach to training needs analysis, curriculum, train-the-trainer programs, and proficiency measurement, plus playbooks for onboarding suppliers and customers and for working with other implementation service providers on shared programs.
- →Set change governance (readiness criteria, adoption gates, and post-go-live sustainment checks) and the practice's measurement standard for adoption, proficiency, third-party enablement, and business results.
- →Lead the AI transformation of the change practice with the executive team, covering tool selection, methodology changes, and ROI measurement.
- Represent the people side on executive steering committees, advise C-level sponsors, and be the escalation point for adoption risk and resistance across the portfolio, bringing executive leadership in when needed.
- Drive change inside DataMap as the firm scales, in process, structure, visibility, communications, and change management, using the same playbook the practice runs for clients.
- Present DataMap's AI-first approach to change in client executive briefings and industry content, working with Sales.
- Build the change management team: hiring, the career path, certification paths, standards, and culture.
- Develop the practice's next generation of change leaders, and coach them to engage their champion networks often, ask what they're seeing, and correct course early.
- Grow change, training, and adoption work across DataMap's accounts, and contribute to the pricing and packaging of change, training, supplier and customer enablement, and adoption services.
- At least 10 years of experience in change management or transformation, including building, leading, and developing teams of change managers.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience building a change methodology, governance, and measurement approach that others run, and a track record of organization-level change that held after launch.
- Experience leading training at scale and change that reaches beyond the organization to suppliers, customers, and other implementation service providers.
- Executive presence, with experience advising C-level sponsors, sitting on steering committees, and leading leaders outside your reporting line.
- Commercial experience growing change and adoption work, including input to pricing and packaging.
- A track record of bringing AI into a change practice or delivery organization and measuring the return.
- Ability to work in person at DataMap's office in Overland Park, Kansas. This role is not remote.
- Knowledge of established change models, especially Lewin's change model and Kotter's 8 steps, as well as Prosci's ADKAR model, the Bridges Transition Model, the McKinsey 7-S Framework, or force field analysis, is a plus. Prosci or CCMP certification is a strong plus.
- Consulting or professional services experience, and change leadership on SaaS or ERP transformations (such as Coupa, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365), are a plus.
