English Language Teacher in Indianapolis

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English Language Teacher to provide in-person lessons to our client.

• Availability: Weekdays 5-6pm (preferably Thursdays and Fridays when she will be working from home) - From Monday to Wednesday she will be working from the office from 8 am to 4pm (She would like to have hybrid lessons- meaning having a few virtual lessons from time to time)
• Preferred start date: ASAP
• Lesson Frequency: 2x a week
• Lesson Duration: 1h
• Lesson Location: Close to Thai Paradise- 137 W Market St, Indianapolis, IN 46204, Estados Unidos
• Current target language level: High intermediate
• Language spoken at home: Mandarin
• Student’s language needs and goals: She would like to enhance her presentation skills, strengthen her day-to-day communication, and feel more comfortable and confident when speaking.

Responsibilities
• Design structured business-focused English lessons
• Focus on vocabulary building, pronunciation, and accent improvement
• Incorporate presentation skills and professional communication practice
• Introduce cultural insights relevant to professional environments
• Adapt lessons to the student’s interests and business goals

Qualifications
• To have a native or near-native proficiency in English
• To have a degree in education, TESOL, linguistics, or a related field
• To have a minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching ESL
