Software Engineer - Python

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust Python applications
• Deploy and manage Python applications in production environments
• Integrate Python-based solutions with Java applications and third-party APIs
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless system communication
• Build AI-powered solutions leveraging LLMs, Generative AI, and Agentic AI frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Follow software development best practices, including version control and CI/CD processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across applications and integrations

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Python development
• Strong proficiency in Python frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and proven experience building JSON-based RESTful APIs
• Experience with Postman or similar API testing/mocking tools
• Proficient in unit testing, debugging, and automation techniques (e.g., YAML, CI/CD)
• Knowledge of Git, version control workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Experience deploying and maintaining Python applications in production environments
• Hands-on experience integrating Python applications with Java systems and third-party services
• Experience developing and consuming APIs for seamless communication between enterprise systems
• Prior experience as a Backend Engineer on performant, scalable service architectures
• Ability to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability

• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI application development
• Ability to build AI-powered solutions using LLMs, Generative AI, and Agentic AI frameworks
• Strong understanding of DevOps culture, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, working closely with cross-functional teams

• Experience working on Generative AI or Agentic AI projects
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Microservices Architecture
• Understanding of scalable and distributed systems
• Familiarity with New Relic or other APM tools
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
