Ready to launch your career in travel? We're looking for aspiring Trainee Travel Consultants to join My Holidays, part of Ignite Travel Group. Whether you're coming from retail, hospitality, customer service, contact centres or another people-focused industry, we'll provide the training, support and development you need to succeed.

You'll learn from experienced Holidays Experts, develop valuable sales and customer service skills, and help Australians book unforgettable holidays holidays.

You don't need previous travel industry experience. We're looking for people who are motivated to succeed, enjoy building connections with customers, deliver exceptional service and have a genuine passion for travel.

What you’ll be doing

• Complete our structured training and onboarding program
• Assist inbound enquiry for our perfectly packaged My Holidays vacations via phone and online channels
• Learn how to understand customers' travel needs and build confidence to achieve targets
• Provide exceptional service throughout the customer journey
• Work collaboratively with experienced consultants and a supportive team
• Learn My holidays products, destinations and travel industry systems to become an accredited My Holidays agent
• We are a seven-day trading business, with rostered shifts across our operating hours. 

What we're looking for

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Sales, retail, hospitality, customer service or contact centre experience advantageous but not essential
• Confidence speaking with customers over the phone
• A passion for helping people and delivering exceptional service
• Goal-oriented with a desire to develop additional skills
• Organised, detail-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment
