Executive Manager, Analytics Enablement

This is your opportunity to take on an important leadership role within Analytics Products & Enablement and help shape the people, capability and craft supporting Westpac’s evolving data, analytics and AI landscape.

As an Executive Manager, Analytics Enablement, you'll lead a team of Data Management Specialists and Data & Intelligence Analysts, creating an environment where talented practitioners can perform at their best, develop their careers and build the capabilities needed for the future.

You'll bring together strong knowledge of analytics and data environments with genuine people leadership. From coaching and career development through to capability building and creating consistent ways of working, you'll play an important role in strengthening both our specialist talent and the broader analytics community.

Working across a broad network of teams and capabilities, you'll partner with leaders across analytics, data, product and technology to understand emerging capability needs, support our people through change and contribute to the continued evolution of Analytics Enablement.

This is an opportunity to combine people leadership, analytics expertise and capability building while contributing to the significant data and AI transformation underway across Westpac.

This is a full-time, permanent hybrid opportunity based in Sydney / Warrane, Gadigal Country.

• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams of analytics, data management, data and intelligence specialists within a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong people leadership capability, with experience coaching and developing specialist talent, supporting career development, managing performance and building high-performing teams.
• A strong understanding of analytics and data management disciplines and the capabilities required across modern data and analytics teams.
• Experience building capability, craft practices and consistent ways of working across multidisciplinary or distributed teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder leadership skills, with the ability to influence and build alignment across senior leaders, practitioners, delivery teams and technology partners.
• Confidence leading through organisational change, ambiguity and competing priorities within a complex enterprise environment.
• A strong interest in emerging analytics, data and AI capabilities and how these are changing the skills, practices and experiences required of modern analytics teams.
