We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Communications Intern to support the day-to-day communications activities across the Benelux region. Working closely with the Communications team and cross-functional stakeholders, the intern will gain hands-on experience in corporate communications, media relations, content creation, and communication projects within an international healthcare technology organization.

You will gain practical experience across a broad range of communications activities, including media monitoring, research, content development, communication campaigns, event support, and stakeholder engagement, while developing valuable professional skills in a collaborative and international environment.

• Start date: January/February 2027
• Location: Heerlen
• Duration: 6 months with possibility to extend for another 6 months
• Working hours: 40 hours per week
• Work model: hybrid (approximately 2 days per week in the office)

• →Support the creation and adaptation of communications materials, including articles, social media content, presentations, and announcements.
• →Assist with media monitoring and social listening activities, identifying relevant coverage, trends, and emerging topics.
• →Support media relations and public relations activities, including maintaining media lists, preparing background information, and coordinating communication materials.
• →Assist in the planning and execution of communication campaigns, events, and employee and community engagement initiatives.
• →Conduct research and gather insights to support communication projects, content development, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• →Collaborate with communications colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders across the Benelux region and the wider organization.

• Current student in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field.
• Proficiency in English and Dutch.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; experience with communications, digital media, or social media management tools is an advantage.
• Understanding of corporate communications, media relations, and social media channels.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn within an international and collaborative environment.

• Proficiency in French.
