Workers' Compensation Litigation Parlegal

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Workers' Compensation Litigation Paralegal to support our employer/defense workers' compensation practice. The successful candidate will assist attorneys in managing a high-volume caseload, preparing matters for hearings, and maintaining strong client relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage case files, deadlines, and hearing calendars.
• Prepare correspondence, motions, discovery, hearing exhibits, and other legal documents.
• Obtain, review, and summarize medical records and claim materials.
• Assist attorneys with Industrial Commission hearings and appeals.
• Communicate with clients, claims professionals, medical providers, and witnesses.
• Maintain accurate electronic files and case management records.
• Track outstanding records requests and litigation deadlines.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including scheduling depositions, responding to discovery and managing pretrial deadlines.
• Assist attorneys responding to discovery.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Experience reviewing medical records and litigation documents preferred.
• Workers' compensation, insurance defense, employment law, or civil litigation experience strongly preferred.
