Material Handler I - 2nd Shift

Entegris is currently seeking a Material Handler to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division in San Luis Obispo, CA. 

In this role, you will be responsible for kitting of material, internal movements of inventory, stocking/restocking of material, and performing cycle counts. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions.

***This is a 2nd shift position, working 3pm-11:30pm.

• →Move raw materials to the appropriate workstations throughout the plant.
• →With instruction, complete SAP (warehouse management system) transactions.
• →Complete specified functions of 6S responsibilities. Specifically, sort, set in order, shine, sustain, safety.
• →Put product away physically into location and in SAP.
• →Support inventory control by conducting weekly cycle counts and delegated inventory tasks.
• →Kit finished and semi-finished goods to specifications from orders utilizing a combination of packaging materials and instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
• →Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance.
• →Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

• →Work as part of a team. 

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous warehousing experience preferred.
• SAP/ERP experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40lbs daily.
• Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Astute attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• Ability to perform visual checks and handle material responsibly.
• Dependability with flexibility to work overtime and weekends as-needed to support business needs.
