Responsibilities

Minimum of five (5) years of Healthcare Environmental Services (HES) experience within the last eight (8) years in a medical facility supporting inpatient, outpatient, and surgical services
→
Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) through AHE or Certified/Registered Environmental Services Executive (C/RESE) through IEHA
→
Five (5) or more years of supervisory or management experience
→
Knowledge of contract administration, personnel practices, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures
→
Previous custodial or janitorial experience
→
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
→
Ability to operate custodial equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
→
High school diploma or equivalent
→
Strong attention to detail and commitment to service quality
→
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Requirements

Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
Ability to work with cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat and cold
Physical stamina to perform job duties in active facility environments

Schedule varies based on contract requirements and operational needs
Availability for after-hours or emergency response as required
