We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and attentive Caregiver to provide dedicated in-home support for a client in Elgin. In this role, you will help maintain a safe, comfortable, and dignified living environment while providing consistent personal care and daily living assistance across a 7-day schedule (35.5 hours/week).

Responsibilities

→Personal Care Assistance: Assist with essential activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, bathing, and personal grooming.
→Health & Wellness Support: Provide timely medication reminders and observe general physical and cognitive well-being.
→Errands & Nutrition: Handle grocery shopping, pick up supplies, and run essential local errands as needed.
→Homemaking & Upkeep: Perform basic household tasks, light housekeeping, laundry, and kitchen upkeep to ensure a clean living space.
→Companionship & Direct Care: Provide respectful, supportive provider care tailored to the client's routines and personal comfort.

Requirements

Previous experience in home health care, personal care assistance, or family caregiving preferred.
Dependable, punctual, and able to consistently work a 7-day schedule totaling 35.5 hours weekly.
Strong communication skills, patience, and high empathy.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required for errands and grocery shopping).
Ability to pass a standard criminal background check.
