Unarmed Professional Security Officer

NOLA Protection is seeking poised, articulate, and dedicated individuals to join our elite security team at a premier Class A Highrise building in downtown New Orleans.

Our objective is to provide a professional security presence that supports property management, assists tenants and visitors, monitors activity throughout the building, identifies potential concerns, and creates a consistent record of security operations.

The assigned team will operate under NOLA Protection’s guiding philosophy: "Safety First. Hospitality Forward." The ideal candidate will seamlessly blend rigorous security awareness with a high-end concierge mindset to deliver exceptional service to our tenants, corporate executives, and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Hospitality & Access Control: Greet tenants and visitors with a welcoming, professional demeanor. Verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and provide accurate directions or assistance.
• Proactive Monitoring: Conduct regular foot patrols of the highrise interior, exterior perimeter, parking structures, and common areas to identify safety hazards, mechanical issues, or security breaches.
• Property Management Support: Act as an extension of the property management team, ensuring building policies are respected and reporting operational needs immediately.
• Incident Response & Reporting: Respond swiftly and calmly to emergencies, medical incidents, or alarms. Maintain a meticulous, consistent record of daily security operations and write detailed, objective incident reports.
• Surveillance Oversight: Monitor CCTV feeds, fire alarm panels, and access control systems to maintain total situational awareness.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in high-end security, luxury hospitality, or corporate concierge roles (Class A highrise experience is highly preferred).
• Licensing: Must possess a valid Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners (LSBPSE) unarmed security registration.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English.
• Professionalism: Impeccable grooming, posture, and uniform standards fitting for a corporate highrise environment.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and respond quickly during emergencies.
• Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and digital reporting software to log daily activities.
