BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world. Advancing the world of health™ is our Purpose, and it’s no small feat. It takes the imagination and passion of all of us—from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year—to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.

The Senior Director, Transfer Pricing will lead BD's global transfer pricing function and be responsible for developing and continuously evolving the Company's global transfer pricing strategy, policies and operating model.

The Senior Director will maintain a strong understanding of BD's businesses and how they are evolving, including traditional manufacturing and distribution, digital manufacturing, supply-chain transformation, and technology-enabled business processes. The role will ensure transfer pricing policies remain aligned with BD's business operations and applicable U.S. and international transfer pricing requirements.

·         Provide senior oversight of factual development, economic analyses, information requests, audit responses and defense of BD's transfer pricing positions.

·         Support IRS Appeals, competent authority/MAP proceedings and litigation, as appropriate.

·         Effectively manage economists, accounting firms and other external transfer pricing advisors involved in significant controversies.

·         Ensure positions taken across jurisdictions are appropriately coordinated and supported.

·         Partner with Finance, Digital and Technology, Supply Chain and other functions on significant systems and technology initiatives affecting transfer pricing.

·         Establish scalable processes that improve data quality, transparency, controls and efficiency while reducing unnecessary manual work.

·         Promote continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies across the global transfer pricing organization.

·         Lead and develop the global transfer pricing team responsible for executing BD's transfer pricing policies.

·         Establish clear roles, responsibilities and escalation standards so that direct reports own recurring tactical execution, including financial monitoring, pricing, adjustments, documentation and related activities.

·         Oversee global transfer pricing documentation and economic analyses and ensure appropriate consistency between policy and business operations.

·         Establish effective governance over material intercompany transactions and financial flows.

·         Partner across Tax, Finance, Controllership, Treasury, Customs/Global Trade, Supply Chain, Legal, Technology and the businesses.
