QA Tester / Quality Assurance Analyst – Contract (Raleigh, NC)

Mfinite Consulting is building a pool of software testers and QA analysts for contract assignments with North Carolina state and public-sector agencies in the Raleigh area. Assignments typically run 6–12 months; agencies set the schedule (onsite, hybrid or remote).

• $23 – $28 per hour, based on experience and skill level
• Full-time, about 40 hours per week
• Contract assignment; W-2 hourly employee of Mfinite Consulting LLC
• Direct deposit

• →Learn how end users work and turn that into logical, well-ordered test cases
• →Write and review test plans for a range of applications
• →Run manual and automated test scripts; log and retest defects
• →Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing before releases
• →Report test results clearly to project teams and stakeholders
• →Keep test, user and process documentation up to date

• 1+ year of software testing or QA experience (more for senior assignments)
• Experience with a test management or defect tool (Jira/Xray, Azure DevOps Test Plans, ALM or similar)
• Careful attention to detail and clear written communication
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; able to pass a background check

• ISTQB certification
• Automation experience (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) or accessibility testing (Section 508)
• Government or healthcare system testing experience
