A career at Hitachi Rail will help create a legacy. With operations in every corner of the world, our work goes to the cutting-edge of digital transformation and technology. From the multi-cultural strength of our global organisation to the sustainable and innovative ways we work to bring people together, there’s something for everyone to get stuck into. And that’s where you come in.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Risk Management Director to join our Global Procurement function and take a leading role in shaping and strengthening supplier risk management across Hitachi Rail.

This is a strategic, globally focused position where you will develop and implement an integrated supplier risk management framework, bringing greater consistency, visibility and resilience across our global supply base.

You’ll work across regions and lines of business, connecting supplier risk with wider enterprise and Group risk activity and helping the organisation anticipate, understand and respond effectively to emerging supply chain risks.

You’ll combine strategic thinking with strong procurement and supplier management expertise, using data, market intelligence and collaboration to improve how we identify, assess and mitigate supplier risk globally.

Given the global scope of this role, European and wider international travel will be required to build relationships and collaborate with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders across our global organisation.
