Treasury Analyst

This is a temporary full-time position with an anticipated end date of January 2028.

The Treasury Analyst reports to the Manager, Treasury and plays a key role in the various aspects of Treasury including cash management activities, bank account management, month end reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting.

• →Expertise – Provide knowledge in an understanding and informative way.
  • →Daily monitoring and reporting of cash position
  • →Assist in preparation and analysis of cash flow forecasts
  • →Manage USD balances and recommend USD purchases when necessary
  • →Monitor and resolve credit card discrepancies relating to ecommerce orders
  • →Assist with interest rate and foreign exchange exposure risk management
• →Efficiency – Use time and resources responsibly.
  • →Monitor and resolve corporate store deposits discrepancies
  • →Assist with treasury-related activities for corporate store openings such as night deposit services
  • →Assist in the annual external audit relating to cash balances and bank/debt confirmations
  • →Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives
• →Safety – Operate in a way that builds trust with our customers, pets, and ACEs.
  • →Prepare and upload month-end journal entries and accruals
  • →Complete bank account and other GL reconciliations
  • →Establish best practices with focus on enhancing controls, fraud detection and cost savings
• →Compassion – Communicate and act from the heart with genuine care and courtesy. 
  • →Manage and review EFT banking validation with vendors
  • →Maintain banking relationships as necessary

• Bachelor’s degree in Acccounting or Finance
• 2+ years of Treasury experience
• Strong analytical skills including advanced Excel and Word knowledge

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV would be considered an asset
