Job Description:

Circuit Activation Engineer - TS/SCI clearance

Day Shift (Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 4:00pm)

Responsible for provisioning & configuring network devices (switches, routers) as part of the MAC (Move, Add, Change) team
Create plans and configures systems for data communication networks
Work with Cable Engineers & Tier I/II Service Desk Technicians to activate & provide network connectivity to the JSP customer base
Support MAC (Move, Add, Change) Layer 1 & 2 activations
Use Element Management tools to determine port & network resource availability to meet capacity requirements
Maintain network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability
Provide network support and troubleshooting for the MAC team
Analyze customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
May be required to work odd hours to support priority service activations for VIP’s & Emergency Response Activities
